Today is the anniversary of the passing of a local sensitive soul that our community lost and so I really want to focus on key self-care tips and tools in today’s blog. But before we go there, let’s take a moment to share some important information to you or a loved one who might be reading this. Feeling overwhelmed by your sensitivities and/or feeling depressed or distraught and need support? You may not be feeling suiciempath-advent-14dal, but overwhelmed and needing a boost today, so let’s get to some helpful suggestions. Sharing 5 of my favourite holiday tips to help you feel as solid as possible during the holidays.

Sensitive souls need to be mindful of getting drawn into drama. This is not the path of service you are meant for. Instead, reconnect to your inner wisdom and radiate calm and peace.

Easy to say and to recommend to those we share our gifts with, but it can be life saving advice that we must follow ourselves.

 

Today’s Top 5 Holiday Tips:

  1. Rest when you are tired.
  2. Eat when you are hungry.
  3. Get plenty of liquids to make it easier to run the energies that you are so aware of at this time.
  4. Ask for help. Whether it is having someone hold space for you so that you can share, or getting an energetic tuneup, getting away to reenergize your bodies or simply getting quiet because you have referred out some of the work you do. Taking time for you is important. It is not selfish. It is what will keep you self-full so that you may help others when you are called to do so.
  5. And even more importantly, when it is not in the highest good for you to step into a situation, please, please turn that superhero-rescue-everyone-cape into a lovely table cloth or window treatment and trust that the very best outcome will unfold without your interference. That is right. If you step into a situation where you are not meant to be part of the solution, you can be part of the problem for the ‘other’ and for yourself energetic too!
