imagesLetting go of things? Easy. Letting go of people or situations? Hard. Or that is what we are told anyways. But what if letting go of a particular situation or person or way of being is in the highest good of all? What if, in the letting go of what was, you are making room for your good to come? Sounds yummy right? Let’s reflect a bit.

Stuff: Why are you still holding on to stuff from your childhood? What about that sofa? Do you still like it? Do the things around you nourish you and bring joy or are you holding onto them out of a sense of duty or loyalty? To what do you feel you owe this too? Could you be stuck in some limiting thinking perhaps?

Decluttering things is popular right now, but could it be as useful when it is applied to relationships? Ready for the next step by sensitive soul friend?

Relationships: What if someone walking away because they no longer wish to participate in a healthy relationship is allowed to do so? It does not make either person wrong.
It brings honesty to the relationship and can actually be quite empowering. Don’t try and convince anyone to be in your life. Way too energy draining for both of you!

Self-concepts: You are not who you thought you were as a child. You can see over the countertop now. You probably drive from the front seat now and can earn your own allowance without having to make your bed. Those were self-concepts that you said goodbye to as you grew.

Plus, there are fewer bullies now telling you to just get a thick skin when you feel hurt or drained by the news. You are not the only one! I have had a number of clients come who ha11222226_601177166688570_6366884550447875_nve had increasing levels of anxiety since the US elections… even clients who aren’t American! We are all feeling things now and it is best to acknowledge them and find healthy ways to embrace these shifts and changes.

Newsflash… you are continuing to grow and change. You are not who you were 5 years ago or 15 years ago. While your values may have remained the same, how you live them may look very very different now. You have the power to create your life and you are doing so more consciously each day. And that is a good thing.

The answer to the question then?
Yes.
There truly is “good” in Goodbyes.

Affirmation: I give myself permission to let go of what no longer serves me and I do so with love.

Many blessings, EagleSpirit <3
