Two ears. One Mouth. Could it mean something? It does for Empaths and we do it naturally. In fact we can’t even help ourselves!!
Empowered #Empaths practice active listening in a deep way because we are listening on all four levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. All the time.

That deep listening may slow our responses at times because we are really taking in what is being shared. We know the stories are important because when we have listened closely and truly heard what is going on around us, we not only understand what is going on with “the other,” we often learn what is going on within us. That headache we are experiencing may be another’s inner criticism if we are a Physical Empath. Our sudden change of moods could be evidence of an unconscious energetic merge and we have taken on another’s emotional state. Fun at a sporting event or concert, less fun when hearing the latest news!

We know our external world often reflects our internal world on a profound level. And we also know when what we are “hearing” really is a call for more love in the world.

Affirmation: I am present to my world and the messages I hear, and act as I am called to from a place of love.

The key for Empaths is to practice radical self-care so that we include ourselves in the love we so generously share. That helps us go from merely surviving and wishing to run away to a mountain top cabin, to thriving and actively participating in the world around us. Yummy right?
