“I am burdened with what the Buddhists call the ‘monkey mind’ — the thoughts that swing from limb to limb, stopping only to scratch themselves, spit and howl.”~ Elizabeth Gilbert, “Eat, Pray, Love”

There are different ways to get energetic cues or information for Skilled Empaths.  Most gather our information primarily from the physical body, others from the emotional or spiritual bodies.  There are Empaths, however, that are most comfortable with the mental body.  They are able to intellectually shapeshift, or merge with another’s mind.

These are the types of Empaths who delight in learning complex systems like math or computer programs simply by sitting with a knowledgeable person in that field.  They find it easy to connect with different thinking strategies for complex problem solving.

Many of us our less aware of what is going on in our Mental energetic bodies than those who can intellectually shapeshift; however, the mental energetic body is very helpful when interpreting the energetic cues we receive!

Current research indicates that we actually feel and think as one action, rather than the thinking always preceding the feeling.  This suggests that heightening our awareness of energetic cues from our mental bodies will definitely serve us well, as we continue to practice empowering techniques for honouring ourselves as Empaths who are more sensitive to our environments.

Today’s exercise comes to you via  a video I made earlier that is perfect for our group too!  It could be two of the most important moments you take today when you are able to do it.
